Artist Team

Michelle Dyer and Paula Timm are an art therapist and artist team that offer Creative Wellness Workshops to a variety of populations, individuals and  organizations. They witness each participant and provide invitations to explore and deepen their individual and shared experiences while making them feel safe, heard and understood.

Collaboratively Creative!

Working together for the past eight years, they have created arts-based community projects and facilitated workshops for various community organizations. Their collaborative approach is informed by arts-based healing that they believe is critical in community and workshop-based work they facilitate together.

Visual artist, instructor and community builder with a passion for sharing the connection between wellness and creative expression.

In her art practice and through community work, she has developed and facilitated workshops with Studio C Prospect Human Services, Jubilee Auditorium (Jube School), Duke of Edinburgh International Award and the Mustard Seed (Mustard Seed School).

Paula invites each person to cultivate their artistic voice and is adept at creating a welcoming space for participants to wade into their vulnerable creativity.

Artist, Canadian Certified Counsellor and Professional Art Therapist.

Alongside her private therapy practice, Michelle has developed and facilitated creative wellness programming for Studio C Prospect Human Services, Bow Valley College and Jubilee Auditorium (Jube School).

Michelle will bring a multidimensional level of empathetic listening, respect and support for the individual and group narrative to be shared, witnessed and creatively documented.

Art therapy is a dynamic, body centered therapeutic approach for self-discovery, to work through challenges and build on strengths and resiliency.
